This one-of-a-kind series is perfect for those of you who have a love of classic style and fashion, like me. The original ads are redesigned on a hand painted 8.5" x 11" custom board.

These ads originate from a 1950s Cosmopolitan Magazine and a November 1955 Women's Home Companion Magazine.

The Chica Boutique is proud to be a part of the Luke's family of specialty athletic stores in North Texas. This boutique retailer has made athletic wear chic and stylish since the 1970s and today is no different. Luke's Locker at Watter's Creek placed an order for a variety of custom designed Boutique Message Boards. The boards will showcase products, promotions and add a little "pop" to their great selection of apparel. This a vibrant and exciting collection of boards that will compliment the new spring clothing lines.

The Chica Boutique has been busy, busy, busy. I'll have lot's of new pictures to post soon! I've had a couple of orders for Mother's Day gifts already, which is great! Get those orders in early to beat the spring rush. :)

A Touch of Color

Show the Love Giveaway was fun, and I hope to do more of those giveaways. Through this giveaway I was able to design these fun boards for a sweet gal, Jaime. Hope you enjoy them Jaime; it was so fun working through the designs with you. :)

The Chica Boutique Letter Block- with Photo Blocks

Here are the new letter blocks with two photo blocks included. I made these for my girls as decoration for their play area in the living room.

The Chica Boutique Letter Block

I have designed a new letter block that is perfect for any decor. I put on my goggles and tool belt and used the chop saw to create these blocks. Each has been sanded, painted and sealed. These blocks are 1 1/2 inches thick so they stand nicely. They range between 3.5 to 5.5 inches tall. I am working on some right now that have a photo block included, which I will post when it is done.

An Early Invitation to Spring

I loved the way the sweet, tangy orange color popped in this board. The zebra added just enough spice. This is one I just may have to recreate for myself. ;) It makes me smile. Hope you enjoy it Jody!

Vintage-Inspired Letter Blocks










I designed these blocks for Violet, who turned 2 years old. She is such a sweetie and I know she will enjoy seeing these fun, boutique letter blocks in her room! This just might be the perfect baby shower gift...a unique centerpiece...a wedding gift...teacher gifts, holiday themed, you name it! Each block measures 2.5 inches, so it is sure to make a statement. I have different fonts available and can custom design to match any decor.
