Oversized Christmas Ornament Decor- Start your collection!

This oversized ornament is personalized with name and year. It measures 3.5"x3.5" and is adorned with satin ribbon and charms. This set was made for the girls' grandparents. I thought it would be such a fun idea to collect them each year and stack them. It would be very cute on a little side table or shelf, and another cute decor item that the kids can play with and not break! ;)

ABC Wooden Block Set

My little Maggie loves to play with blocks. She's also been interested in letters and numbers, so I thought this would be the perfect Christmas gift for her. I cut the wood at 1.75" x 1.75". I used fun, bright colors and gave it a vintage look. One side has a letter and another side has a number. I used 0-9 and repeated. As I was designing these I decided to alternate between green and pink letters. It's a great way to practice patterns, as well as learn even/odd numbers, in addition to many other lessons. I "Maggie-proofed" this set by sealing it to where there's no chance this paper will edge off. I love how it turned out. Merry Christmas Maggie! Now off to finish the workbench we're building for Annie!

Getting it done...

Slowly, but surely, I'm going to make my deadlines and have everyone's orders complete in time for Christmas! Somehow, even if it means no sleep, I am getting it done! :) I have loved working on all these designs. I hope all of your loved one's get a big ol' smile when they open their gifts!!

I am so excited for 2011! I have been working on a new block design that will be debuted early in the year. In addition, I am working on a brand new line, Belle et Chic by The Chica Boutique, which will be launched in early 2011! Lot's of fun!
